Centurion and West Central Gully. Far from perfect Scottish winter climbing conditions.

A short by Keith Ball from the week we spent together in winter 2014 climbing two, hard classics in less than perfect Scottish weather. Centurion on Carn Dearg was a fight in a snowstorm which brought it in condition in front of our eyes  as we walked the path to The Ben and West Central Gully on Beinn Eighe which was a wild ice melting battle without screws in rather a lot of spindrift.
